It offers a variety of high-quality, exceptional catering, designer cakes and pastries made to order. Every delectable creation that leaves the kitchen uses only the finest and freshest local ingredients. Whenever possible, from-scratch recipes are employed in every aspect of your order, including homemade jams, sauces, preserves, curds, and even fresh, organic, free-range eggs from our own flock of hens for cakes, pies, buttercreams, and much more!
Hello, I am Chef Darci Lynn Harvey, the proud owner and operator of The Sugar Tree LLC. My culinary journey began in the quaint village of Tenants Harbor on the Maine coast, where my passion for cooking ignited at the tender age of five. By my high school graduation, I had already amassed four years of experience as a line cook and baker. My academic pursuits led me to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, where I graduated cum laude with an A.A.S. in Baking and Pastry Arts in 1997, and also earned my esteemed Cordon Bleu Certification. My creations have graced the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, and numerous cakes of mine have been featured in REAL Maine Weddings magazine. Crafting cakes and pastries is not just my profession, it's my passion. I delight in creating unique, mouthwatering masterpieces that are as pleasing to the palate as they are to the eye. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with you and make your special occasion an unforgettable, sweet memory.
